Stamping INKspiration Hop

Welcome to our Febrary hop, I'm Rachael from SE Queensland, Australia and I'm so happy to share my project today with you, using the inspiration colours from this months challenge.

I used most of the colours to create this pretty rainbow card. This beautiful combination of Blushing Bride, Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink and Bumblebee screams icecreams on a warm afternoon vibe to me.

This new stamp set is quickly becoming a favourite!I also used the cloud punch with vellum to create some subtle layering.

colour INKspiration #102

What an adorable image!  Am I right?  I knew that this would be a challenge, because it would end up being monochromatic.  This card was one of those where you have to 'trust the process'...
Here is my interpretation of this challenge, using the wonderfully bright Polished Pink from the new In Colours.  I love this stamp!  I did cut off 2 of the animals mainly because it didn't fit in the size I wanted.
As always, a bit of versamark stamping on my background cardstock, as well as the dotty embossing folder features, isn't it subtly perfect? I can't wait to see everyone else's interpretation of this challenge.
Happy stamping,
Rachael

Color INKspiration challenge #101

I finally got around to creating for this wonderful challenge.  A huge congratulations to the team for it being their 100th challenge too from last week, I missed the deadline for that challenge due to life being too busy (thanks report card season!).
Here is my entry using these beautiful softer colours.

I loved this combination so much.  And I knew exactly what I was going to do with it as soon as I saw the image.  I'd love for you to leave a comment and let me know what you think of this challenge and my entry. There is still a little bit of time to join in ;)
Happy stamping,
Rachael xx

Colour INKspiration Challenge #91

Challenge number 91 is out now for Colour INKspiration.  The above image and the colour palette provided plenty of inspiration for my card.

This is a mini card, which I guess could double as a gift tag too.  I have used Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay, Pretty Peacock and Magenta Madness.  I didn't include glitter but did add some sparkle with some gemstones.

I've stamped and used blender pens on the envelope too.  I have been trying hard to use my Paper Pumpkin stamp set for plenty of cards, ensuring its not just sitting unused after only a few cards.  I'm really happy with the simple layout and how cute this turned out.  The colours worked well together.

Thanks for popping by, hopefully most of your Christmas creating is slowing down and you can relax for the Christmas break.  I plan on doing some baking to go with handmade cards over the next few days which will go to our neighbours.
Happy Holidays INKspiration peeps, Rachael xxx
