Need a card in 10 minutes?
This is such a quick card to put together using scraps of patterned paper.
I cut 4 strips of paper in the regal collection of colours and trimmed the ends to create double ended banners. I adhered them to the card base then die cut 2 labels from the Stitched So Sweetly die set. I stamped the sentiment from Beautiful Friendship and added little balloons from the Zoo Globe stamp set in a matching colour.
If you don't have dies or patterned paper, this card is just as effective in cardstock and a simple matted square sentiment.
Happy crafting, Rachael xx

Just add ink - #525 - Thanks
I bought some watercolour brushes on Friday and have had this card in mind since I read the challenge over at Just Add Ink. This week's challenge is to add 'Thank you".
The card came together well. I've noticed I've gravitated towards greens and blues lately.

Purple isn't my colour...
...BUT I think I made it work in this card!
A neighbour is recovering from having some skin cancers removed today, so I thought a nice card would cheer her up as I'm sure she is in pain. I don't usually use purple but I actually think I pulled this one off. The colour reminds me of hydrangeas like my grandfather used to grow so it was only fitting to use Beautiful Friendship for this one. The best thing about this card - it took 15 minutes from start to finish!

- Whisper White and Highland Heather cardstock
- Highland Heather, Balmy Blue and Mint Macaron inks
