Did you know I do classes at your home?

I'm very passionate about having a hobby.  Whats even better about my cardmaking hobby is the new people I get to meet through online and in person events.  I'm grateful for friends (hello Kelly!) who set up events to hold in their home where I can go and make cards and introduce people to my passion of Stampin Up!.

In June, I will be doing a card making class using a kit.  Whilst the kits are available to purchase and do at home yourself, they make a perfect class where everyone can be together creating with their own products that they keep.  And I'm there to give loads of demonstrations on how to use the product and get a clean and professional look to your project.  I always have a bonus card which is made just for the class and exclusive only to those who attend as well as give aways and samples to look at.

Have your booked a class lately?  Do you have a group of friends (3-10 people) who want to learn something new or spend an afternoon laughing and having a great time?  Contact me to learn more.

A firm favourite blog ...hopping with Ink & Inspiration

Welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop for December, our last one for 2021. You are currently visiting Rachael Merrick from Australia. I hope you enjoy my FAVOURITE PRODUCT project.

There is so much to love about Stampin Up, everything they have is great quality.  But the one thing that I have been loving lately is the KITS collection.  I love that there are both non stamping and stamping based kits, giving not only a great choice for the beginner but also two price points.  I have to admit, in Australia, we don't have access to the Paper Pumpkin kits often so when these were released I was super excited.

I've had several friends and customers buy kits for gifts and some have purchased them for their children to make over the holidays.  They are super versatile.  My favourite of them all and one I have gifted myself is the butterfly themed "Notes of Cheer".  There is no stamping involved and the whole 9 cards come together in an hour or so.

Not only are the colours lovely together but the die cut elements are so dainty.  The iridescent gemstones and envelopes really make this kit come together too.  I can't wait to see what new ones may pop up in 2022.

I hope my project today has inspired you & brightened your day.  Please see the list below & hop through all of the people on the list to see all our projects. You don't want to miss any!

New Code to use and an update

 Hi all

I wanted to pop in and say that I've been super busy behind the scenes.  I taught a big class of 11 attendees this weekend just gone.  It was great fun and I think everyone enjoyed themselves.  I've only got 2 weeks left of the school year which means I will then have several weeks break to create and plan for new and exciting things for my crafty friends early next year.

I have also had several orders come in this week and wanted to remind everyone to use the HOST CODE at the checkout, to get a free gift in the mail from me.  Of course if you are spending over $250 yourself, to let me know before you place the order because you will get a special spending spree to yourself.  If you are purchasing from me, please share photos of your creations with me, I love to see what everyone creates.

And some exciting news coming towards the end of this week - I am doing several online classes in the coming months so that everyone can join in the fun, from the comfort of their own lounge or craftroom.  A VIP Facebook group will be set up for each class, with a LIVE video demonstration and kits sent out beforehand so you can craft along with me.  Can't make it to the LIVE?  Thats ok, the video is recorded and stays in the group for several weeks so you have time to catch up.  The best part - each LIVE will consist of 2 card designs, however you can choose to create as many of the kits as you like.  Want to have half a dozen birthday cards up your sleeve?  Then purchase 3 kits.  All you need to do is use your stamps and adhesives and the rest is provided.

Are you on my email list?  If not, please send me a message and I can add you to my data base (don't forget to tell me your birthday so I can send you a card)!

Happy Stamping,

Kit Release....

Have you seen the new Christmas tag kit?

So cute!  Its an all inclusive kit which means you can craft without purchasing another thing!

There are 12 tags in this kit.  BUT what I'm most excited about it that there is also printed cello bags that match so that you can package up some Christmas goodies and add a tag for an instant handmade gift!  I'll pop up some actual examples as soon as my kit arrives... I can't wait!

Coffee, cake and cards resumes

I'm excited, finally its school holidays, and that means we can breathe and get some time to create.... with friends.  I am holding a workshop to create 3 birthday cards tomorrow with 3 lovely friends from work.  Unfortunately one friend can't make it and I know was a bit disappointed.  To cheer her up, I created 2 cards that I have in 'kit form' to pop in her mailbox - for her to make with her youngest who happens to love arts and crafts.

I tried to keep the colours more male or neutral and also to make the cards fun.  Suitable for all ages!  I used some retired items and some of the Sale-A-Bration goodies too.  I hope they have fun putting them together.
To all those who are entering school holidays and have their kids at home, good luck to you all.  As a teacher I not only look forward to the holidays but also feel for parents who will no doubt be very ready to hand them back in 2 weeks time.
Grab out the crafting gear or buy a kit and spend some quiet time creating.  Not only will the kids love it but you will end up with some great projects at the end.
Happy Stamping,

New catalogue means kits galore

I couldn't wait to get my hands on the newest Kits from Stampin Up.  I have some friends who like to come along and create but really aren't into buying a lot of supplies.  We've decided to get some kits to share and have a lovely bundle of cards for giving.

This is what we've gone with this time and will probably create them over a few cups of coffee on weekends.

A beautiful soft card design, with roses.  We will also do a small gift box to go with it, as a little thank you freebie for coming along and joining the fun.

These ones everyone is keen for - because lets face it, male cards aren't the easiest to get right.  We will probably create a small box to go with this one with a faux wood panel top.

So pretty - this one will be perfect for girls of any age.  Don't those envelopes look fun!  I can't wait to do a bag topper to go with this....

And finally, an oldie but a goodie with foiled accents.  This will make a lovely little collection and we will create some simple tags to go with this set as a freebie thank you.

So much fun coming up in the next several weeks.  Now to wait with anticipation for them to actually arrive (and possibly a few extra things to play with in the same order!)  If you would like your own kits, please let me know and we can get some on order for you.

Happy crafting
