This weeks projects - 21 April, 2024

Hi everyone, this week has seen me back at work.  I'm lucky that I was organised to have projects completed and scheduled because I'm not sure I would have had enough to share with you all.  Its been a busy week!!

The translucent florals set is so much fun to play with and is super easy to use!  I created this one to showcase the neutral DSP that was included in the Les Shoppes paper pack.
Probably my favourite from the past week - this interactive plane card was so much fun to create.  I have a quick Youtube video too.  It was inspired by a demonstration from OnStage....
The past weeks monochromatic theme was Misty Moonlight, so I created a masculine card this time around and showcased a retiring embossing folder which I also inked over to look like a freshly painted wall.  Simple but effective.

And there were a few others posted over on my Instagram and Facebook.  This one was a Sunday Challenge to make a celebration card.  With my wedding anniversary coming up in a few weeks, I feel organised now I have a cute bee themed card made.  Is it too many hearts?  I think not!

Thanks for popping by, I love that I get to share my craft with others.  Please make sure you leave me a message so I know you've been, I'd love to say hi.

Happy Stamping,
Rachael

FB Sunday challenge

This week was a Kids theme so I grabbed out a retired stamp set, and got to work.

I knew I wanted the 'growing tree' element in my card and decided on an easel to show it off.

There is so many little detail stamps in this set and I wanted to use most of them if I could.

Such a cute and interactive card, making the tree grow by opening it and displaying it standing up.

Another FB Sunday challenge that got me thinking and wanting to create something different.  Thats why I love to do them.

I was super happy with the cloud dies for this card too - they are in the Give it a Whirl die set from the annual catalogue which I had totally overlooked in the beginning until I saw cards popping up on my social media feed with them and just knew I needed them.
Happy stamping,

Sunday FB challenge - sketch

Another week- another challenge.  LOVED doing a sketch challenge although I admit, I got carried away and turned it on its side then it became a background!

I've used Birthday Chick stamp set - so cute.
Colour combo of: Pale Papaya, Calypso Coral and Soft Succulent.

Happy crafting everyone,

Sundays FB Challenge

This weeks challenge was a colour combination.  Rich Razzleberry always gets me in challenges because it only own a Stampin pen - no paper, cardstock or ink.  BUT I can always make it work.

I love this image so much and even more so when stamped in a row.

Its not too late to join us over on Tracy Bish's Facebook challenge.... always great to get the creative juices flowing.
Happy stamping,
Rachael xx

Sunday Facebook Challenge

This week I stepped back into my scrapbooking mode and created a mini album.  Talk about a blast from the past....

The challenge this week for Sunday was:

I've used the Simply Elegant DSP for this album and approached it using black and white photos and similar layouts for each page.  I then finished with plenty of sentiments from my stamp collection.

I love how the heart 'charm' turned out, its stamped on foil cardstock using Stazon ink - its double sided and was hand cut.

I have a feeling my mum is really going to love this :)

Happy creating everyone,

Rachael xx

Sunday challenge again - as promised

This weeks challenge was a sketch.  Everyone loves a good sketch, it gets the creative mind working :)

I've created with the retired snail mail papers.  These were on my desk so it gave me a good excuse to do a clean up and create at the same time.

Here is the sketch from Tracy, please join along and post your version onto her FB page too :)

Happy creating
